M1 crash causes seven-mile tailbacks near Milton Keynes

An accident calused seven-miles of slow traffic on the M1 near Milton Keynes on Friday morning.

The crash blocked one lane on the southbound side near to Junction 13 at around 5.30am this morning (June 26).

A broken down vehicle in the queues added to delays for drivers.

Queues were back to Newport Pagnell by around 7am as traffic struggled to get past the scene and Highways England are warning it could take a further two hours for tailbacks to to clear.
