Thames Valley Police MK said on Twitter today (Thursday) that V5, Great Monks Street between H1 (Greenleys Roundabout) and Stratford Road (Wolverton) is closed due to gas works.
According to another local media outlet, a resident reported a strong smell of gas just after 3pm and several police officers were seen knocking on nearby house doors reportedly telling them to stay inside while work was taking place.
