Man in his 50s dies after crash in Milton Keynes at the weekend

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

At around 9.50pm on Saturday (9/5) an orange Nissan Micra was travelling along Standing Way H8 when it left the road, close to the junctions of Marina Road and Hospital Road, and collided with a line of trees on the opposite side of the carriageway.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Investigating officer, PC Ian Baldock, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“Furthermore, if you were in the area around the time of the incident and have a dash-cam, please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with our investigation.
