Met Office issue further weather warning in Milton Keynes for Monday

The Met Office has issued a weather warning in Milton Keynes relating to potential travel delays from snow and icy conditions between Monday February 1 and Wednesday February 3.

The warning starts at 9PM on Monday and runs until 11:45PM on Wednesday.

A separate yellow weather warning was confirmed by the Met Office yesterday (January 28) warning of potential snow-related travel delays tomorrow on Saturday (January 30).

Here's the potential disruption next week's weather could cause according to the Met Office: "Possible travel delays on roads stranding some vehicles and passengers, with bus and train services potentially delayed or cancelled. Some road closures and longer journey times are possible.

"Possible delays or cancellations air travel. Some rural communities could become cut off. Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected. A chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces. Untreated pavements and cycle paths might be impassable."
