Temporary traffic light system scheduled for Milton Keynes A-road

Milton Keynes Council has announced temporary traffic lights will be in place on this road between February 15 to 19.

The A509 near Emberton Park will be using traffic lights between 9:30am -3:30pm.

The extra road safety measures have been brought in to allow tree pruning works to take place.

A spokesperson for the MK Council said the following in a Twitter statement: "A509 temporary traffic lights between February 15-19 on the northbound carriageway next to Embleton Park. This will allow essential tree pruning works to take place safely."
