Warning after two road traffic incidents in same area of Milton Keynes cause delays

A car has ended up in a ditch while another vehicle has flipped onto its side in the same area of Milton Keynes this morning, on January 22.

The first incident at B565 Lavendon Road, Olney, left two people temporarily trapped in a vehicle in a ditch.

Tow firefighters from Bucks Fire and Rescue services were able to safely remove both persons from the vehicle using a ladder and stabiliser. A spokesperson from Bucks Fire and Rescue stated: "[the] two people, were believed to be uninjured. They were left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service."

The second incident was reported at 09:08am, a car fell onto its side on the verge. The driver lost control of the vehicle at Weston Road, between Olney and Weston Underwood.

Two firefighters attended the scene, no-one was trapped. A woman was injured and left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
