Witness appeal after driver dies in collision at roundabout in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses after a male driver died at the scene of a collision at Milton Keynes roundabout

The collision happened on the A4146, the Fenny Stratford bypass at about 3.50pm on Wednesday February 26.

A white BMW was travelling from Milton Keynes towards Newton Leys when it collided with the roundabout at the junction with Stoke Road.

The driver of the vehicle, a 42-year-old man from Milton Keynes, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Investigating officer, PC Barry Gregory said: “I am appealing to any witnesses who haven’t already come forward or anyone with footage of the vehicle before the collision or the collision itself to contact Thames Valley Police.

“If you have any information then please contact us via our website, call 101 or visit a police station, quoting investigation reference number 823 (26/2).

“I would like to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation while the carriageway was closed for a number of hours to allow officers to carry out enquiries at the scene.”
