Trio arrested after machete attack in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police has arrested three men in connection with an incident involving grievous bodily harm in Wolverton.

The victims, a boy aged 16 and two men aged 21 and 42, were attacked by a group of men armed with knives, machetes and baseball bats in the area of Franklin Court at around 7.45pm last Saturday.

One victim sustained a large laceration to their arm which required surgery, the second sustained a broken arm also requiring surgery and the third victim needed stitches to his head. All received treatment at Milton Keynes general hospital.

“This was an extremely violent attack on a boy and two men in the early evening on Saturday,” said investigating officer Serena Bellis.

“I would like to reassure the local community that we are conducting a thorough investigation and have already made three arrests, however we still need help from the public.

“We urge anyone with any information relating to the incident to contact us on the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
