Val Benford, who grew up in Fenny Stratford and has lived in the Milton Keynes area all her life, had the chance to take a trip down memory lane on May 9.

Her father owned and managed a butchers shop in Bletchley, which has been recreated and features within the fascinating Milton Keynes Museum. As part of Val’s birthday celebrations, a curator from the museum was invited to the care home to speak about the museum.
