Trolleys loaded for food bank

Several full trollies of non-perishable food helped students at Denbigh School support Food Bank MK in providing people in the new city with nutritionally balanced cupboard essentials.

Students and staff filled the trollies to bursting with donated groceries, and the school also raised £973 for the charitable initiative with a non-school uniform day.

Headteacher Andy Squires said: “Denbigh students, their parents and the staff never fail to impress me with their kind donations for the school’s charities. We consider ourselves a community school and helping local people and charities is part of our ethos and is an important lesson to teach our young people.”
