Defence minister Mark Lancaster MP says the nation must remain united to ensure extremists “can never win”.
The MK North MP said his heart goes out to all those affected by the “deeply shocking” terror attack, which killed 38 people in Sousse on Friday.
He said: “Terrorist attacks such as this are designed in part to divide us.
“I am determined that as a community and nation we should however do the opposite and unite in our determination never to give in to acts of terror such as this.
“The extremists involved represent nobody but themselves and whilst we remain united they can never win.
“Friday’s minute silence will be a clear demonstration of our unity and resolve.”
