Thousands of lives touched by Willen Hospice will be remembered in a twilight lantern walk around the lake next month.

The remembrance event will raise money to support the specialist end-of-life care provided by the hospice.

Chief executive Paul Hinson said: “Willen Hospice has touched many thousands of lives over the years and our Twilight Walk for Willen is an opportunity for those who wish to come together at our beautiful lakeside setting in a time to reflect and help support the work done here.”

The event starts at 6pm on Sunday September 13. People will meet at the Willen Hospice gardens first for refreshments, before walking around Willen Lake North.

The evening will end with lantern lighting in the Hospice gardens.

Anybody wishing to register can visit or call 01908 303055.

Registration costs £5 for adults and £2 for children, with lanterns costing £10.
