A 19-YEAR-OLD teenager has been left in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Newport Pagnell last night
The incident happened at around 5.15pm on Monday, March 7, when a blue Volkswagen Lupo left the road and collided with the boy and an 18-year-old girl who were standing on a grass verge. She was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital and is now in a stable condition. She suffered minor injuries.
The boy was initially taken to Milton Keynes hospital before being transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford suffering with serious head injuries.
The accident occurred at the junction of Marsh End Road and High Street. The road was closed until 10.30pm.
The driver of the car was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital for observation and was later discharged.
