Two serious road traffic collisions in MK on Saturday

There were two serious road traffic collisions in Milton Keynes on Saturday evening.

The first involved two cars colliding at the junction of Chaffron Way and Saxon Street, Fishermead, at 5.50pm.

Firefighters and paramedics removed a woman, injured, from one of the cars.

The second incident happened at 6.30pm on the A5 southbound between Portway roundabout, Central Milton Keynes, and Redmoor roundabout, Bletchley, when four cars collided.

Firefighters released a woman, injured, using hydraulic rescue equipment, and made the vehicles safe.

Four men and two women were out of the vehicles on arrival and in the care of paramedics.
