Two-vehicle collision in Milton Keynes leaves five people injured

A two-vehicle collision on the Junction of Barnsdale Drive and Chaffron Way in Westcroft has left five people injured.

The incident took place at around 5:10pm and left the five people involved with neck and back pains. All five were seen to by paramedics from the South Central Ambulance.

A spokesperson from the Bucks Fire and Rescue Service described the incident, saying: "One appliance and crew from West Ashland [Fire Station] attended. No-one was trapped. Firefighters assisted with casualty care and traffic management."

Milton Keynes firefighters also dealt with another serious incident earlier in the day. A flatbed truck caught fire on the M1 southbound, junction 14 by Milton Keynes.

This happened at around 1:35pm, a hose reel was used by firefighters to quash the blaze.
