Two women arrested for assaulting police officers in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses following an assault on two police officers.

At around 12.15am on Saturday April 3 two police officers were assaulted outside Shipindon Hill in Bradwell.

Initially the abuse was verbal, but as the officers attempted to arrest the two women the assault became physical.

One officer sustained bruising to the face and a scalp injury, during attempts to arrest the offender.

Two women, aged 24 and 26 from Milton Keynes were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and assaulting an emergency worker. They were both released on police bail until 6 May.

Investigating officer PC Rebecca Holton based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “The officers in this case were assaulted while carrying out their duty.

“We are investigating this incident and would like to speak to anyone with information about what happened.

“It is thought there were a number of people who potentially filmed this incident and we would ask that that footage is shared with us rather than on social media.
