A DREAM came true for a couple of excited young MK Dons fans when they spent a night with the FA Cup.
The world’s most famous football trophy was on display in Midsummer Place over the weekend, with any young person under the age of 12 invited to enter a competition to win it for a night ahead of Dons’ historic second round clash with AFC Wimbledon this weekend.
And the winner just happened to be seven-year-old Dons season ticket holder Lewis Corby, pictured with five-year sister Eve at their home in Oxley Park.
With mum Liz and dad Gary, they went to see the Cup in Midsummer Place at lunchtime on Sunday, and just a couple of hours later they got the call to say it would be heading to their house that night.
For young Dons supporter Lewis it really was a dream come true – just a couple of weeks after he scored his first ever goal for Tattenhoe Youth U8s.
Now, after spending the night with the FA Cup in his bedroom, he can’t wait for Sunday’s big game against AFC Wimbledon.
And if he really puts his mind to it, he might get to lift the Cup again one day!
