Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Oldbrook last Friday – in which an umbrella was stolen.

Between 7am on Friday and 10am on Sunday, offenders used tools they took from a shed at a property to smash a ground floor window to gain entry to the house in The Boundary,

Once inside they searched the house and stole an umbrella.

Officers would like to remind householders to keep sheds and outbuildings locked and secure so that tools cannot be used to break into properties.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency single number 101 and ask to speak to Det Con Wendy Cissell from Milton Keynes police station.
