Val Benford slices into a big cake to mark a big birthday – her 100th!
Val gew up in Fenny Stratford and has lived in MK all her life. She is now a resident at Kents Hill Care Home and marked her special day with a visit from a curator at MK Museum – Val’s father ran a butcher’s shop in Bletchley, which has been recreated at the museum.
Val also received a card from a lady celebrating her own milestone, the Queen. “Val is very much a part of our community...her bubbly personality and happy face are part of what makes our home a lovely place to work,” said manager Carolyn Patterson.
