Vandals cause racially aggravated criminal damage to graves at church in church in Milton Keynes

Two graves at St Lawrence Church in Broghton have been targeted by vandals who daubed them with offensive language.

A medal from a recent sports event was also taken from one of the graves.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident of racially aggravated criminal damage which happened between 12pm Sunday (25/2) and 12pm on Monday (26/2). The offenders used black permanent marker.

Investigating officer, PC Liam Farrow based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following this upsetting incident of racially aggravated criminal damage to these two graves.

“I urge anyone who witnessed this incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area during these times to get in touch.
