The final of this year’s Milton Keynes Food Awards Asian cook-off took place on Wednesday.
Chefs from Wolverton’s Verandah Talk and Stony Stratford based Calcutta Brasserie took part in the contest, hosted by Milton Keynes College.
Nauman Faraz, from Verandah Talk, and Abdul Salam, from Calcutta, were competting for the title of MK’s Asian chef of the year.
The pair had to cook a starter, main and dessert for judges including MKFM’s Chris Gregg.
All the winners of the Citizen backed Food & Leisure Awards will be revealed at a glitzy ceremony at Jury’s Inn on Sunday, May 12.
