A three-year-old Ninja Warrior fan has become a hit online after he was filmed climbing, jumping, flipping, diving and swimming to imitate TV’s toughest obstacle course.
Little Callan became an “obsessed fan” while watching his dad compete on ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK show earlier this year.
Desperate to be just like him, Callan has been training in his family’s gym - and the video of his extreme workout has been watched by more than 18,000 people.
Dad Ruel DaCosta, from Shenley Brook End, said: “I was in the first series of the show and Callan watched me on TV, then while I was filming the second series he was able to come and watch it live.
“Since then he absolutely loves it - he’s become obsessed with it all.”
In the video, Callan is seen climbing, jumping, flipping, diving and swimming while at the Paramount Parkour Academy gym in Kingston.
In two days the footage had been watched more than 10,000 times.
Ruel added: “I thought the video was cool, but I had no idea people would like it this much.
“I’ve made videos of me training in the past and he managed to beat my total number of views in less than two hours.”
Ruel will be back on the telly soon in the second series of Ninja Warrior UK, which sees competitors from all over the country take on TV’s toughest obstacle course.
Presenter Rochelle Humes was so impressed by Callan’s moves that she tweeted ‘great job’ after watching the video.
Ruel added: “I was absolutely shocking in the first series.
“But even though I made a mistake they recognised my potential and gave me another chance.”
