Video shows 60ft high fountain of water caused by burst water pipe in Milton Keynes

This dramatic video shows a huge water leak caused by a burst pipe in Milton Keynes.

The video of the 60ft high leak in St Stephens Drive, Bolbeck Park, was shot by Tim Place this morning (January 11).

The leak has been reported to Anglian Water who are investigating.

An Anglian Water spokesman said: “Our teams are currently working to repair a leak on St Stephens Drive in the Bolbeck Park area of Milton Keynes. Our teams were alerted to the leak earlier today and a road closure was put in place for the safety of local residents.

“Our teams have isolated the pipe and no customers in the area have been affected by loss of water or low pressure. Traffic management will be kept in place on St Stephens Drive to enable our team to complete the repair as quickly, and as safely, as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we would like to thank local residents for their patience whilst we complete these vital repairs.”
