Flash catwalks, models, discounts, champagne, DJs and goody bags were just some of the things that could be found at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre last Thursday.

The best dressed fashionistas were out in force as they joined fashion capitals across the world by celebrating Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.

For the first time ever Milton Keynes joined London, Paris and New York in a celebration of all things fashion - and it proved a night not to be forgotten.

Events at Midsummer Place kicked off early with flash catwalks modelling the latest trends from the Centre’s stores enticing shoppers throughout the afternoon, before the big event started at 6pm.

The celebrations included exclusive discounts from many of the stores, catwalk shows, in-store parties, personal stylist sessions, competitions and much more.

Midsummer Place marketing manager Pippa Stennett, said: “We are so pleased to be able to bring this huge celebration of fashion to Milton Keynes and to celebrate the great fashions that the stores at Midsummer Place offer. The night was a great success for shoppers and retailers that were able to show off their labels in the most stylish way possible.”

On the evening each store hosted their very own interpretation of the celebration, from live models in the windows of Coast to personal stylist advice from Debenhams to free Benefit make-overs in Miss Selfridge. Plus designer store Thackeray’s used the evening to officially launch their store with a live dj and champagne reception.

Midsummer Place’s very own Fashion TV were on hand on the evening to spot the best dressed fashionistas. To see if you were spotted and to view the gallery from the event visit the website
