Milton Keynes University Hospital has launched its second annual staff awards.
Building on the success of last year’s campaign, this year’s awards will be bigger and better, and will help us to recognise those who go the extra mile to provide an excellent service for every patient, every time.
Chief executive Joe Harrison said: “It is important that departments and individual staff are acknowledged for the care that they provide, as we frequently receive such great compliments from the public. Our staff awards allow patients, visitors and hospital staff to say thanks in a public way.
It takes just a couple of minutes to nominate an individual or a team, so we can give them the credit they deserve.”
This year’s Staff Awards includes 11 different categories ranging from excellent patient care to exemplary leadership, and voting is open to anyone who has had an experience with the hospital - patients, visitors and staff members.
Members of the public can nominate online by visiting www.mkhospital.nhs.uk/awards or by picking up a nomination form in locations across the trust, including the hospital’s main entrance located at the treatment centre, the outpatients department or the Eaglestone restaurant.
Completed forms can be returned by dropping them into the on-site awards boxes or posting them free of charge to:
Freepost RLXB-TUUR-JCLS, The Communications Team, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Standing Way, Milton Keynes, MK6 5LD.
Hurry! Closing date for voting is Monday, September 7 at 5pm.
The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 4 2015.
