Hide AdIt is understood the attack may have had some of the the hallmarks of the so-called ‘M25 cat killer’ who has butchered hundreds of much-loved pets during the last two years.
A spokesman for the Milton Keynes and North Bucks branch of the RSPCA said: “We are asking pet owners to be careful and be aware.
“Typically, the offender strikes in the middle of the night.
“We don’t want to panic people, but our advice is to keep cats in at night if possible. If you see anything suspicious, report it.”
