Where's Wally? Family's appeal to help find dog still missing after Stony Stratford blaze

The family whose lives were devastated in the Stony Stratford fire have put out an urgent '˜Where's Wally' appeal for their missing dog.

Dick and Helen Post fear Wire-haired dachshund Wally may have made a bolt for safety or still be trapped in the rubble, which is still cordoned off as a danger zone.

Jack also spotted the post’s pet cat Baggy and ensured she was rescued too.

“We’ve lost everything we ever possessed in the fire, and we’re all thankful that we’re alive and Widget and Baggy are safe,” said the Post’s daughter-in-law Maya.

“But we’re worried sick about little Wally. It could be that he’s traumatised and hiding somewhere. We’d be so grateful if people could keep their eyes open for him,” she added.

The Post family, now living temporarily in a hotel, has thanked the people of Stony Stratford for their help and community spirit.
