This baby dinosaur - a Coelophysis - stopped by the Milton Keynes Citizen office this morning on his way to Whipsnade Zoo.

He is part of a new 10-strong team of dino’s who will be at Whipsnade from July 23 for the whole of the school holidays. He has had quite the journey too - coming to these parts from Texas!

The new interactive attraction is called Zoorassic Park, and will provide visitors with an interactive experience, a chance to get up close and personal with these giants of the past.

Dinosaur scientists and keepers will also be on hand to help with the fun, learning experience.

“Everyone loves dinosaurs and as a conservation charity it’s great for us to engage visitors, so that they can learn about the animals we’ve lost, and how we can work to stop other species becoming extinct,” said a spokesman.

And though this fella looks reasonably cute, there are some much bigger dinos showing their gnashers in Zoorassic Park. Be warned!
