A white transit van was seen in the area on the evening of a burglary in Woburn Sands, which saw thieves take off with jewellery.
They forced their way into a house in Cranfield Road between 7.15pm and 9.30pm last Tuesday by entering through a window.
They then carried out a search of the property before stealing jewellery, watches and jewellery boxes before using keys to open a conservatory door to exit the house.
Police believe they may have travelled in a white transit van which was seen parked in Vandyke Road during the evening of the burglary.
Investigating officer, DC Samantha Reynolds said: “Please contact police if you recognise the description of this van, or if you have knowledge that it is was parked in the area for legitimate reasons so we can eliminate the vehicle from our enquiries.
