Witness appeal after burglary in Browns Wood

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after burglars targeted a house in Browns Wood.

Between 11pm on May 21 and 6.30am on May 22 thieves gained entry to the house in Wagner Close through an unlocked rear door.

Once inside they stole a white Xbox 360 and a wallet containing £9.

The empty wallet was later found discarded in an alley way behind the house

Police are appealing for anybody who has information about this incident or knowledge of the stolen item to come forward.

Officers would also like to remind householders to secure their doors and windows.

Anyone with information should call the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency single number 101 and ask to speak to Det Con Wendy Cissell.
