Witness appeal after man is robbed

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Hadley Place, Bradwell Common, on Wednesday, August 3.

Sometime between 5.30pm and 6pm, a 34-year-old man was walking along Hadley Place when he was approached by three men. One of the men punched him in the face while a second produced a knife. The third man searched his pockets and removed cash and tobacco.

The first offender was black, 18 to 23-years-old, of medium build with short hair. He was wearing dark clothing and had a pink scar across his nose.

The second was black, aged 22 to 23-years-old, 6ft 1ins and was wearing a thick black cardigan, woven on the sleeves with two hoods coming from underneath in blue and black, and dark jeans. He was wearing a black baseball cap, with a reddish tinge and an outline of the letter M in red on the front.

The third was mixed race, about 20-years-old, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins, of a skinny build, and clean shaven.

The victim received reddening and swelling to his cheek but did not require hospital treatment.
