Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bletchley.

The incident happened at a bus stop on the V7 Saxon Street, next to Tesco, in Blethcley, between 1.05pm and 1.15pm on Monday.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was at the bus stop when she was approached by a man she had previously spoken to at the self service till point in Tesco.

The man put his hand inside the woman’s top and touched her chest inappropriately.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail to return to Milton Keynes police station on July 18.

PC Steve King, who is investigating the incident, said: “Although we have made an arrest I am still keen to trace any witnesses. I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed a disturbance at the bus stop.”

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact PC King via 101.
