Witness appeal following serious accident along Bletcham Way in Milton Keynes

A 30-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being seriously injured in a road traffic collision last Friday. (Jan 22)

The accident happened shortly after 11pm and involved a silver Peugeot and a silver Audi along Bletcham Way at the junction with Monellan Grove.

The man travelling in the Peugeot sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital. He has since been transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Two other people travelling in the Peugeot and one travelling in the Audi received hospital treatment and have been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Aaron Fricker, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Milton Keynes, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.

“If you have any information which could assist the investigation please call our 24-hour non-emergency number on 101.”
