If you go down to Woburn today you’re in for a big surprise.

In honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Woburn Safari Park is holding a very special picnic and the honoured guests will be your Teddy Bears!

Bring your family and your favourite teddy bear to the park on June 4 and take part in some extra special half-term fun. The Teddy Bear’s Picnic will be a great day for you and for the North American Black Bears at Woburn; the keepers are arranging some special ‘enrichment’ for them to enjoy throughout the day. Look out for them tucking in to their very own picnic in the Kingdom of the Carnivores!

You can enter your teddy bear into the ‘Best Dressed Bear Competition’ at the Trading Post and be in the chance of winning the star prize of an ‘Up Close Encounter’ experience with your choice of animal. Or try and guess the name of the teddy bear cake, to win the delicious prize!

Get your special Teddy Bear’s Picnic tickets in advance online for children aged three to 15 years old, which includes a delicious picnic box and a Diamond Jubilee Teddy with his own mug.

Join Benjamin Bear to learn more about Woburn Safari Park’s black bears and why Woburn Safari Park is raising money for Moon Bear Rescue in the Birds in Action arena. Plus it’s story-time in the afternoon, so bring your own bear along!

Embark on the Honey Pot Quiz Trail as you wander through the Animal Encounters walk through enclosures, with a small charge of 50p a sheet, all the proceeds go to the Moon Bear Rescue, a charity which helps rescue bears from shocking cruelty in farms across Asia.
