Woburn & Wavendon FC are on a firm footing for the future
In Milton Keynes, Woburn & Wavendon FC can look forward to a perfect pitch when the whistle blows again later this summer.
They play on Watson’s Field in Little Brickhill which has been less of a playing field and more of a swamp on occasion.

Now though the club, with funding from the MK Community Foundation, have invested more than two thousand pounds in improvements.
The club has upgraded the area making it a viable playing surface for years to come.
Storage facilities have also been installed.
It means that the space can now be enjoyed by the football team, and the community at large.
“The final investment will result in a superb surface that will be able to handle nearly everyhing the good old British weather throws at it,” said club chairman Ian Doggett.
