Woman raped on city estate

A woman in her thirties has been raped by a man who followed her through Conniburrow.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened at 4am on Monday April 4.

The victim was walking in Conniburrow Boulevard towards Downs Barn.

She walked through an alleyway near a park off Yarrow Place when she noticed a man following her.

He then assaulted her and raped her in the open grassed area in between the houses in Yarrow Place, Conniburrow Boulevard and Ramsons Avenue.

The offender is white, in his thirties, taller than 6ft 2ins and of average build. He was wearing a black jacket, a dark-coloured beanie-style hat, and a hood covering the hat. The incident was not reported to police until this week.

Detective Inspector Ian Jarvis, from Milton Keynes Force CID, said: “Detectives are working to establish the circumstances of this serious incident in which a woman was raped. The victim is currently being supported by specially trained officers.”
