Woman sexually assaulted in Emerson Valley underpass

A 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in an underpass close to Emerson Valley.

The attack happened on February 27 at 3.45pm as she was walking along a redway from Tattenhoe Lane in West Bletchley, to Cropwell Bishop in Emerson Valley.

As she walked through the underpass there was a man wearing a black balaclava leaning against the wall, described as black, of slim build and around 6ft tall. He was wearing black clothes and a hooded top with the hood up.

She walked past him and he then pushed himself away from the wall and pulled her against it. He then touched her inappropriately before the victim pushed him off her. The offender asked her to stay with him, and had a distinctive accent.

Case Investigator, Selena Nolan, said: “The victim passed a number of people during her journey, suggesting that a number of people could have seen this offender. We ask anyone who saw a male of this description to come forward; this will help us to further our investigation.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
