Woman suffers broken femur in collision

A 19-YEAR-OLD woman suffered a broken femur when she was involved in a traffic collision on Sunday.

The incident happened on the H5 Portway, Great Holm, between Kensington Drive and Attingham Hill, at about 10.15pm and involved a red Ford Fiesta and a silver Audi Coupe.

The woman, driving the Fiesta, had to be cut from the vehicle before she could be taken to hospital. She suffered a broken femur. The driver of the Audi, a 41-year-old woman from St Neots, Cambridgeshire, suffered minor injuries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the way the vehicles were being driven prior to the incident.
