Work planned for village car park
Work to redevelop the car park in Great Brickhill Parish Hall will start next week.
Funding has come from various grants, including those from Aylesbury Vale Community Chest, the Big Lottery Fund, London Luton Airport Communities Fund and Bucks Community Foundation. In addition the Cricket Club and Tennis Club will be contributing funds and labour to the value of £7,000, while the parish council has agreed to fund the remaining sum.
The current car park does not cater for disabled access or pushchair access to either the Parish Hall or the other facilities in the area. There was also a flash flood last year which seriously damaged the PH sports floor.
Works are expected to commence on March 23 and be finished by May 1.
