Police have released an e-fit picture of a would-be rapist who pushed an 18-year-old woman to the ground and tried to force himself onto her.
Last Friday, at around 2pm, the victim was walking her dog in Oakridge Park near the Grand Union Canal when a man attempted to rape her.
She managed to escape and run home to contact the police.
The offender is a 25-35 year-old man, 5ft 10ins, medium build, with brown eyes and an Eastern European accent.
He was wearing a black beanie hat and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Det Chief Insp Kelly Glister from Milton Keynes Force CID, said: “There will be police patrols again in the area tomorrow (29/5) and if anyone has information about the incident or thinks they may recognise the offender from the e-fit picture we are publishing I would ask them to get in contact with the police on 101.
“The victim is being supported by our specially trained officers and continues to help police with their enquiries. Our officers are on hand to provide reassurance to the local community and anyone with any concerns can contact the police on 101.
“We do not believe the incident is linked to any other recent reports.”
