Would-be thieves who ram-raided shop leave empty handed

Three people have been arrested after a ram-raid on a One-Stop shop in Giffard Park.

A dark coloured Ford Puma was driven into the shop in Knebworth Gate at around 5am yesterday morning.

Three men disembarked from the vehicle, two of whom entered the shop but left empty-handed.

It is believed a fourth man was also involved in the incident.

Det Sgt Paul Killingley said: “While we have already made three arrests, we are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident to come forward.

“We would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen a vehicle matching the description provided being driven away from the scene.

“If you have any information please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”

Three men, aged 23, 24, and 33 all from Milton Keynes, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody.
