Wheelchair users will be able to book sessions for a sit-ski experience during an event to celebrate national Disability Awareness Day on July 10.

Shernette Lawrence visited the venue for her son’s 15th birthday with two of his friends who are all wheelchair users and have different disabilities and needs.

She said: “Snozone organised a great experience on the slopes for the boys including a face-to-face informal chat a week before hand to show us the sit-ski and how it would be used.

“The time on the slopes was spent making sure the boys were safe and comfortable, they had a phenomenal instructor who made the boys feel at ease.

“I love the fact that it is totally inclusive, it is definitley a must visit place especially for those with a disability that find it difficult to access most sports - our boys can’t stop talking about it.”
