Anyone aged 50-plus looking to tone up in 2015 can try yoga at a Milton Keynes fitness studio.
Sweat Studios in The Hub has started a new class called No Sweat, combining the posture and breathing aspects of yoga with a cardiovascular work-out.
And classes are being held at 28°C temperatures, which is said to make muscles more supple and less prone to injury.
Gym founder Kirsty Lowe said: “We have had such a positive response since launching and have had many request from people aged 50-plus who are looking for the benefits of a yoga workout, but are a little daunted by hot yoga, so this new arm class in a natural progression for us.
“This is about demystifying yoga and stripping all of the pretension and waffle to leave what’s really at its core –a way to better understand your body, stay fit and healthy and get a really great workout.
“It’s afresh, friendly and down-to earth approach to yoga that gives you a workout with no of the nonsense.”
The new class starts on Thursday, February 5, from 10-11am.
