Young man out on daily exercise is robbed at knifepoint in Milton Keynes

A man in his twenties was robbed of his mobile phone at knifepoint by two offenders on a city estate.

The victim was near the junction of Ambergate and Tanfield Lane. in Broughton between 5.45pm and 6pm yesterday (Wednesday) when he was approached by two men.

One of menthem put his hands in the victim’s pocket from behind him while the other got out a knife.

The offenders then stole a mobile phone.

The first offender is described as in his twenties and was wearing a black baseball cap and a shiny top. The second was a similar age and was wearing a white tee shirt.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kerry Mitchell based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victim.

“We would like to speak to anyone who has information or saw what happened yesterday afternoon. If you have any information that could help, please make contact through the website quoting the reference number 43200114107.
