Maureen McColl, chief executive of MK SNAP, said that winning a complete redecoration of their facility would provide a huge boost to the charity.

She added: “We have a purpose built centre which was opened in 2008 but it hasn’t been painted since.

“The more colourful areas of the centre create a really special atmosphere amongst the learners and we are hoping to replicate that across the whole centre if we win this fantastic prize.

“Our learners are all very special people and it would make a real difference to their lives.”

She added: “We would like to thank Johnstone’s Paint for providing us with this opportunity through a fantastic initiative and would urge everyone to vote for us.”
