Woman suffered broken ankle during fight in Milton Keynes city centre car park

A woman suffered a broken ankle after being pushed over by a man during a late night altercation in a city centre car park.

Two men followed a group of two women and two other men from the Xscape at around 1.10am on Saturday.

They trailed them into a car park on Avebury Boulveard where an “altercation” took place, say police,.

One of the women was pushed over and broke her ankle so badly that it required surgery. One of the men suffered a facial injury that needed stitches.

Investigating officer Detective Constable James Day, of Milton Keynes station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have information regarding this incident.

We are trying to establish the circumstances of this incident, so anyone with any information that could help us is encouraged to get in touch.”

A 19-year-old man from Milton Keynes and an 18-year-old man from Buckingham have been arrested on suspicion of affray. Both have been released under investigation
