Hocus Pocus is a 1993 American fantasy-comedy film, directed by Kenny Ortega and written by Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris.
Starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson sisters, the film follows the trio of witches who are accidentally resurrected by a teenage boy in Salem on Halloween night.
The film is regularly watched by many around Halloween each year.
A sequel to the 1993 film is also said to be in the works, and according to Variety, the Hocus Pocus sequel will premiere on Disney's streaming service, Disney Plus.
However, it’s not yet been confirmed if any of the original Sanderson sisters will appear in the sequel.
