Bletchley Park shortlisted for three prestigious UK Heritage Awards

Bletchley Park has been recognised in the following categories; Best Family Day Out, Most Improved Heritage Development and Must Visit.

The winners of these highly prized awards, recognising the places and people who contribute to the world of heritage, will be announced at an awards ceremony at Grocer’s Hall, London on Monday 23 March.

Rebecca Foy, Director of Public Engagement at Bletchley Park said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for these three prestigious awards, which recognise our unique visitor offer for all ages and our new permanent D-Day: Interception, Intelligence, Invasion exhibition which was formally opened by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge last year. Over the past twenty years Bletchley Park has become an internationally renowned heritage attraction, visited by people from around the world and brings together the dramatic history of the twentieth century with the challenges we face in the twenty first century in our rapidly changing and technologically complex society.

Local residents who live within a 10 mile radius of Bletchley Park are entitled to 50% off general admission tickets, which also count as an annual season pass giving visitors unlimited free returns for a year. Under 12s go free.
