Milton Keynes Baseball Club got their season off to the perfect start on Sunday with both teams securing wins in their opening games.

The club’s first team, MK Bucks, travelled to Stourbridge to take on the Titans. Solid pitching and defence, combined with some timely hitting from Ben Alexander and Tam Tachikawa, resulted in an 18-3 victory for the visitors.

Meanwhile the club’s newly created second team, MK Coyotes, played their first ever league game as Herts Eagles were the visitors to Woughton on the Green. Starting pitcher John Suk threw six strong innings while EJ Ayala led the offense to a 34-16 victory.

Both teams are in action again this Sunday with the Coyotes hosting another home game with first pitch at 2pm at Woughton.
