FIVE Milton Keynes gymnasts did their club and city proud when they enjoyed success at the Regional Voluntary Championships in Reading last weekend.
The biggest star of the show was Amari Freckleton, 8, who took the gold medal and became level five champion, having picked up silver on bars, silver on floor and silver on beam to finish top of the pile overall.
Also at level five, Charlotte Anderson Priddie, 8, finished 5th overall after winning gold on floor.
Kayleigh Matthews, 10, came 3rd overall after winning gold on bars at level four, while Bryony Matthews, also 10, finished 5th overall having earned bronze on both beam and vault, and Gypsy Squires, 9, finished 7th overall.
Coach Charlotte Atkinson said: “We’re all really proud of the girls for their achievements.
“Thanks to Amari we’re now the only club to have won the level five shield twice in two years which is a fantastic achievement for us.”
